Turn design into code with Claude Code + Figma

Claude and Figma just teamed up to make something magical: you can now turn your Figma designs into working code in minutes. No more begging a developer to bring your mockups to life.

1. Install Claude Code with npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code (NodeJS required).

2. In Figma, select your design and hit “copy link to selection.”

3. In your terminal, run:
   claude mcp add --transport http figma-remote-mcp https://mcp.figma.com/mcp
   (this links Figma to Claude).

4. Type claude in your terminal, ask it to generate your design as an HTML/CSS website, paste the Figma link, and let it cook.

5. Open the browser and boom—your design is live.
